These days there is much talk about the idea of a purpose driven church – a church intentional about fulfilling the purposes of Worship, Evangelism, Discipleship, Fellowship, and Service (or ministry). But there is one purpose that stands alone as the highest calling for a church – the purpose of Prayer.
At Katy Fellowship, we long to fulfill the call for the church to be called “a house of prayer.” It is what we believe is key to our vibrance as a church and absolutely preempts any plans or strategies that we could ever dream up – with Him all things are possible, apart from Him we can do nothing.
If you need someone to pray with you call our church office at 281-391-0099 during normal business hours. For Emergency prayer after hours please call: 281-381-5624 and messages will be retrieved as soon as possible.
Many Valuable Prayers
MVP Prayer (Most Valuable Prayers): Each Sunday morning, everyone is invited to join with others in praying over our service.
Our Pastor, along with ministry volunteers and others in our church, gather at 8:30 for the purpose of lifting up all elements and aspects of our morning worship and praying for God to have the freedom to move in our midst.
If you would like to join with us in prayer, simply come early this Sunday morning and gather with us at 8:30 a.m.
Incense – Wednesdays
We believe that Prayer cannot be categorized as a program or an event, or even buried within the purpose of Worship – prayer is different altogether.
Prayer is the very intimate connection between a Believer and our God. Prayer is two way: we offer our prayers as INCENSE before the throne, but we are also to wait on the Lord, to listen in quiet and in stillness for His leading and prompting.
Come join us Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM as we “lift our Incense.”
Special Forces Prayer
Our Pastor and Elders gather together to pray every Tuesday and Friday Morning at 6:00 AM. All of KCF is invited to come and pray for each other and any needs you may have.
