The Care Ministry @ KCF

1st Peter 4:10 says, “As each has received a gift use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.”

The desire of this ministry is to glorify God by exercising our gifts of mercy, hospitality, compassion, and outreach.

Through the KCF Care ministry we:

  • Provide meals in times of need through our Meal Ministry
  • Send notes of encouragement through our Note Worthy Ministry
  • Help those with specific needs through His Hands Service Ministry

If you are interested in joining the Care Ministry, all it takes is a desire to serve others by giving love, prayer, and little of your time.

His Hands Service Ministry

The His Hands ministry is designed to meet various needs of our church community. These needs include, but are not limited to:

  • yard care
  • moving assistance
  • basic household maintenance
  • etc.

Our goal is to be available to assist in whatever need arises. If you are made aware of a need that we could possibly assist with or if you would like more information please use the button below to us.

Note Worthy Ministry

Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:10

The purpose of this ministry is to encourage, console, and lift up those among us who are experiencing difficult seasons of life. Those who volunteer for this ministry write and send a card to people within our congregation that God has placed on their hearts.

If you have a servant’s heart and a desire to uphold the church body then this ministry is a wonderful place for you to share your gift.

Meals Ministry

WHAT IS MEAL MINISTRY?

Working within guidelines set by the leadership of KCF and a team of volunteers, we provide meals to our church community in times of need. It supports the Body by living out the work of God to glorify Him through serving one another.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The meal ministry coordinator is made aware of a need. Volunteers are then contacted and asked to provide a meal and deliver it to the recipient.

WHY DO WE SERVE?

We serve families and individuals in time of need……after the birth of a baby…..after surgery or hospitalization…..after the loss of a loved one……during times of crisis.

WHAT ARE THE MEAL GUIDELINES?

We provide a complete meal and deliver it to the recipient. The meal does not have to be fancy or gourmet. We attempt to accommodate allergies and food preferences.

HOW CAN I HELP?

The meal ministry is an excellent way to serve others and make a difference in someone’s life. It is an incredible blessing to see a friendly face and receive a meal. Please contact Nicole Erskine below if you would like to be a part of the KCF Meal Ministry or if you know of or have a need for meals.
