Children’s Ministry Assistant Kyle Carter

Hi! My name is Kyle Carter! I’ve lived in Katy for the past 12 years. I have two terrific parents, Kip and Karen, and four fantastic siblings, Sean, Andrew, Camille, and Brett.

I am:

  • an adventure aficionado
  • donut connoisseur
  • amateur Ultimate Frisbee player
  • take having fun very seriously
  • world renown buffoon

Keep an eye open while you’re out and about as you just may see me rollerblading around the city, that is my preferred form of travel.

Enough about me though, let me tell you what Jesus has done and is doing, in and through me. I got adopted into God’s family in July 2012 while on a mission trip to Puerto Rico and I haven’t looked back since! The next summer I was able to go to Costa Rica with all my friends and got to be a Jr High intern at Grace Fellowship UMC, both of which were eye opening and life giving experience.

Then in 2014 I went on a 5 and half month mission trip to Belize, Guiana, Suriname, and French Guyana. Upon my return, I was able to be a counselor at Great Adventure Camp (GAC). It was through my job there that I heard about a fantastic opportunity to be a part of Children’s Ministry right here at KCF! I’m so thankful, for my job here, and even more thankful that I get to be a part of such a prayer-minded, encouraging, and faithful church body.

An adventure is only an inconvenience rightly considered. An inconvenience is only an adventure wrongly considered.
G.K. Chesterton

My Favorite Verse

“All these things my hand has made, and so all these things came to be”, declares the Lord. But this is the one to whom I will look: he who is humble and contrite in spirit and trembles at my word.Isaiah 66:2, ESV
